During the working process of electronic belt weigher, it is inevitable to be affected by various internal or external factors, resulting in inaccurate measurement accuracy or poor stability. Therefore, the belt weigher needs to be calibrated regularly during use, or calibrated after maintenance and replacement of components. The verification methods of electronic belt weigher mainly include physical verification, hanging code verification and chain code verification. Chain code verification also includes rolling chain code and circular chain code. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these verification methods? How to choose?
1. Hanging code verification
Hanging weight calibration is to hang a weight of a certain amount on the calibration blade of the weighing frame, start the belt, observe the reading of the instantaneous flow indicator, and compare the jumping number of the cumulative counter within a certain time interval (generally more than 3 minutes, and the time for a long belt to rotate an integer circle) with the theoretical calculated value.
advantage:
a. The correction coefficient is found out by comparing with the physical calibration. The repeatability is good and the calibration accuracy is high.
b. The operation is simple and easy. As an auxiliary verification method, it is widely used.
c. Low cost, fast calibration.
Disadvantages:
The result of code hanging verification is often quite different from the result of physical verification, and the accuracy is slightly poor.
Applicable occasions:
It is applicable to places with low measurement accuracy or limited space.
2. Chain code verification
Chain code verification is to simulate the uniformity of actual materials on the belt for verification. The specific verification method is similar to hanging code verification. There are two forms of chain code, one is chain, such as ordinary anti-skid chain or sleeve roller chain, and the other is special standard roller chain.
advantage:
a. The chain code price is appropriate and easy to obtain.
b. The weight of sleeve roller chain is relatively uniform, and the belt wear is relatively light.
c. The roller code verification accuracy is high, and the belt wear is small.
Disadvantages:
The weight of the anti-skid chain is uneven and the belt is severely worn.
Applicable occasions:
Places with high precision and space permission.
